Still love the Maybelline XXL mascara. I have to be honest in saying that it’s probably my favorite mascara of all time. I find myself always repurchasing it. Perfect sized brush, primer for my lashes, and gives a nice dramatic look.

Femme Fetch: VS Pro Pout FX Lip Primer and Definer I am a fan of Victoria’s Secret makeup especially the VS Pro stuff. I really think the line excels with products intended to help you get the most wear and durability out of your makeup. The VS Pro Pout FX Lip Primer and Definer is an amazing product. Put simply, it works. The promise is to prevent smearing and feathering specifically when going for a fuller lipped look. If you tend to draw outside your natural lip line to get a bigger pout, you want this product.  So Femme !!!

Femme Fetch: Ben Nye Banana Powder and Mojave Contour Wheel Not sure why I haven’t tried the Ben Nye Banana Powder yet, but excited to finally see what all the fuss is about. I swatched a number of the luxury powders in different shades and the banana powder seemed to work best despite it’s distinct difference from my skintone. I find this powder to be awesome and oh so femme for setting your highlight.  Ben Nye’s Mojave Contour Wheel was a great find for the price of $14 USD alone. Great shades for ethnic skin and I suggest everyone look into a contour wheel that corresponds with your skintone no matter what it is. The shades have great color pay off and blend well.  Look for an updated foundation video with contouring and highlighting within the next week. Super excited, hope you are too.  Be Bold, Be Femme!!!

Femme Fetch: Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation Loving this full coverage foundation. This stuff is the ultimate in covering up any and everything, can even work as a concealer. Great on all skin types and is  especially perfect for us oily femmes wanting a foundation to stay put all day. Also loving the Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation for day to day wear.

Femme Fetch: Wet n’ Wild Lipsticks I am a true makeup snob and I was extremely skeptical of anything Wet n’ Wild minus the solid liquid liner I tried years ago. So I recently gave in and purchased one of the Wet n’ Wild Mega Last Matte Lipsticks along with the Silk Finish Lipstick for a grand total $3.26. I must say I was impressed, the matte lipstick has strong color payoff with a decent wear time especially considering the price point. Is anyone else as femininely fixated on Wet n’ Wild as I am?

Femme Fetch: MAC 163 Flat Contour Brush I am currently obsessing over this brush. I havent purchased it yet, but I am dying too. I honestly believe it is the ultimate contouring brush specifically for creams. The shape will create a strong line but the stiffness of the bristles will help blend the cream down. Not sure about this brush for powder contouring, but I am sure it’s fine. I think I would favor the NARS contouring brushes for powder.

Femme Fetch: Victoria’s Secret VS Perfect Lipstick I was totally impressed with the VS Perfect Lipstick from Victoria’s Secret. Ages ago, I was in love with a lipgloss of their’s, but haven’t had much VS in rotation lately. I picked up their Perfect Lipstick in the shade Scrumptious and it is the perfect nude pink. What I love most about these lipsticks is the color pay off with the semi-glossy finish. The stuff is pigmented really well. Extreme color pay off like a matte lipstick with the smooth application of a lip balm. I love it under a nice gloss or alone. Victoria’s Secret is great for fitting somewhere in the middle between drugstore cosmetics and department/high end cosmetics in terms of pricing and quality. I say give this lipstick a go if you want to stay fiercely and frugally femme!!!!

Femme Fetch: Benefit Cosmetics’ Erase Paste First off let me start off by saying why haven’t I known about this product until now. The Erase Paste from Benefit is the best camouflage/concealer product I have used in a long time, definitely among one of my top 3 of all time.  The product comes in three shades; light, meduim, and deep and seems to do a good job of providing coverage and brightening for a strong range of skin tones. I prefer it as an under eye concealer/ highlight but can be worked all over the face for some. The product is light in consistency, doesn’t cake up, and last all day.  Benefit as a brand is slowly starting to win me over. I love that they address standard needs like foundations and concealers, but still make products that fall somewhere in the middle for us femmes who aren’t quite sure of what we want.
