I really think the line excels with products intended to help you get the most wear and durability out of your makeup. The VS Pro Pout FX Lip Primer and Definer is an amazing product. Put simply, it works. The promise is to prevent smearing and feathering specifically when going for a fuller lipped look. If you tend to draw outside your natural lip line to get a bigger pout, you want this product. So Femme !!!

Femme Fetch: NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream Totally love products that deliver amazing results in non-traditional ways. The NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream delivers nice color pay off with a soft, velvety matte finish. I favor these lip creams over a matte lipstick because of the effortless application. This stuff applies a bit moist but dries down leaving lips matte but not dry. Love, love, love the NYX Lip Creams. So Femme!!!

Covergirl Blast Flipstick Lip Duo Purchased one of the new flipstick lip duos from Covergirl the other day in the shade Snap. One side is a golden beige while the other is more of a coral based pink shade. The positive with this is it glides on smooth and has decent color payoff. I honestly felt like this concept was a good idea but the particular shade I got was unimpressive overall. I feel like had I purchased a duo with a bolder color I would have been more satisfied. Covergirl promotes the duos as having rich bold color on one end and a shimmery shade on the other. The duo I have is sheer and shimmery on both ends, nothing really intense or bold on either end. I liked the product but i wasn’t impressed. If it’s on sale or you’re given one, then work it. Don’t go out of your way on this one. Go by a Revlon Lip Butter instead. What are your feelings about the Covergirl Blast Flipstick Lip Duos?

NARS Cosmetics Sheer Lipstick in Beautiful Liar

I have recommended this lipstick so much recently and I am kinda obsessed with this shade. It’s a nice shimmery coral, perfect for almost all skintones. I really love the sheer lipsticks from NARS because they wear so amazing in the day time, not too intense. Try pairing this shade with the NARS lipgloss in Sandpiper(another one of my favs) or the Victoria’s Secret Brilliant Lip Shine in Flaunt. The blending of the beige and coral is flawless.

Lipgloss as a Highlight

I love this tip that I recently discovered. Using lipgloss as a highlight under the brow and on the cheekbone is pretty amazing and something I would have never thought of. Try it Out!!!!

MUST HAVE MAKEUP: NARS LIP GLOSS

I have to say that I am obsessed with all things NARS but the lip gloss holds a special place in my heart. I don’t think I have owned any lip gloss that has just worked perfectly for me. The formula is not too sticky, last a good amount of time, and has a good amount of color impact for a gloss. I love it. Paired with one of the NARS lip liners or lipsticks and you have magic. My day to day makeup includes Mambo, an eyeliner used on my lips that i raved about in a previous post and Sandpiper a sheer beige colored gloss.

I am pictured above( without makeup so don’t judge) with my two favorite shades, Dolce Vita and Sandpiper. Other shades to look into would be Pillow Talk, Orgasm, Super Vixen, Revolt, and Turkish Delight which is great for a Kim Kardashian look.

A hot BOLD and FEMME makeup look always includes a killer lip gloss, so slather it on ladies!!!!

This was interesting. In my experience, younger guys love a sexy pink or beige nude/natural lip while the older guys really respond to the iconic red lip. I think older men attach the image of the women from when they were growing up to red lips.

What do you guys think? Does a man or a woman’s opinion determine what shades you wear when you go out?

I have to say that I found the American Life album to be quite enjoyable. This album was my intro into Madonna when I was at a place to receive her. I knew Madonna for years but never really listened, that changed with American Life. This album peaked my curiosity enough to dig back and discover the power that is MADONNA!!!!!

Revelon ColorBurst Lip Butter So I am so wondering about this stuff. I am assuming it has the moisturizing capabilities of a chapstick with some decent color payoff. Apparently, the ingredients include mango, shea, and coconut butter. That sounds nice, right?!!! Looks promising, all for for under 10 bucks. So tell me who has tried it and was it any good?

Practicing for my makeup tutorial video that I will be filming tomorrow. I am going for a Lana Del Rey from the Born to Die video look. I will definitely be darkening and intensifying the eyeliner, its not showing like i want.

What are you guys thinking, any suggestions?

FEMME FATALE- Angelina Jolie I had to reblog this pic. How amazing does she look, OMG!!!!! I have to say I am an Angelia fan, she’s okay in my book. She has and always will live her life based on what works for her. A true original and completely unapologetic for it, which is very Madonna of her. At the end of the day, she is a woman, flaws and all, striving and working to constantly evolve. It doesn’t get any more femme-tastic than that.

MAKEUP MUST HAVE- HARD CANDY VISIBLY WET SHOCKINGLY GLOSSY LIP PENCIL

I first came in contact with a lip pencil that gave the delivery of a lipgloss through NARS and their Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil and more recently I see that more affordable makeup brand Hard Candy carries the Visibly Wet Shockingly Glossy Lip Pencil. I must say that I am loving lip gloss in pencil form. More precision, lightweight, and less mess.

I am going to promote and sell NARS always, but this Hard Candy lip gloss pencil is pretty sweet. First let me say, I love the sexual vibe of it being called HARD CANDY VISIBLY WET SHOCKINGLY GLOSSY LIP PENCIL!!!!! So FEMME!!!

I got this stuff gifted to me because honestly I am a makeup snob and would not have gotten it otherwise, but it is awesome. Not tested on animals, glides on easy and quick, feels way lighter than a typical gloss, and decent color impact. All of this and it’s under $5.

I am going to be honest and say that the NARS Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil will last longer and you get way better color selection, but HARD CANDY wins out considering the price and the pretty decent pay off with the product.
