First off, Kate’s cheek bones are unreal, I can never fully accept how amazing her bone structure is. Love the Dior makeup line, the mascara and lipsticks are the strengths of the line in my opinion. I am a fan of their primer too, good stuff.

This woman is so amazing and so well adjusted in a world that can be all too critical of women and more specifically women of color. Developing a solid and long standing career in fashion is no easy task even for the more “understood” beauties, but Alek proves it is possible.
I have had my moments and still do at times when I feel my skin tone is not the most desired or apperciated, but women like Alek show me that there is a femme beauty and power in dark skin and African features. I am so apperciative of her prescence in the fashion world!!!
Remember that all of us need inspiration and people to look up to. A femme fetus can’t grow up to be a femme goddess without something to aspire to.
